- CROWN SIZE: The measurements known as “crown” and “leg length” are illustrated in fig. B. A wider crown gives you more support, while a narrower crown gives you more staples per pound of wire.
- LEG LENGTH : The leg length should be long enough to penetrate the entire thickness and be pressed flat on the other side. All Pioneer staple machines feature adjustable leg lengths which can be varied to suit the job.

- PROVIDES YEARS OF DEPENDABLE SERVICE: For over 50 years, the industry has relied on the Pioneer wire stitcher. Even today many vintage Pioneer machines are still in daily use, providing generations of dependable service.
- SINGLE TRIP CLUTCH MECHANISM (OPTIONAL) : Insures that only one staple will be fastened in place each time the machine is actuated (the standard multiple trip clutch mechanism which inserts another staple every 1/6th second for as long as the foot pedal is depressed).

PIONEER stitching wire: We stock many different sizes and styles of stitching, stapling, and bookbinding wire that may be used with many types and styles of production machinery. Our standard stock wire is supplied in sturdy 5 pound plastic spools, 10 spools to a case. Priced per 5 pound spool or case (50 lbs).
- Electro-Galvanized: Clean, bright “silver” finish.
- Tinned: Similar to galvanized wire, but slight gold tint. Durable and tarnish resistant.
